Napoleon's Life
Napoleon Bonaparte was born in   Corsica and that is where he spent the    majority of his childhood.  Napoleon was a bright student so his father wanted nothing but the best educationfor his son.  Napoleon attended aschool called Ecole Militaire in Parisand graduated at the age of 16.Napoleon had no military influence from his family because no Bonaparte had actually taken part in the military;
this leads to many questions as to howNapoleon led such an incredible military life.

 Napoleon progressed into one of the military's most respectable individuals. Napoleon was made lieutenant colonelin Corsica in 1791.  However, whenCorsica became independent,Napoleon and his family fled toFrance.  Napoleon was assigned a fleetfrom Toulon a city in France upon hisarrival.  Napoleon led his fleet into victory and was immediately made aBrigadier General.Napoleon made progress andcontinued to gain rank, but when the revolution came about, Napoleon joined a group planning to usurp the throne.  Napoleon successfully did soand if you are interested in more information on how he accomplishedthis go to the link called "Napoleon's
